Resolutions and all the Rest

I love setting goals, and making lists.  In fact, I think I get off on writing lists.  Actually doing the things on the list is usually where I find my trouble.

But it's the new year and I'm going to make some changes.

I haven't decided how many resolutions I'm going for...

Cooking.  I bought a Wallace and Gromit calendar a few days ago (here's a pic) and each month has a recipe on  it.  And as I mentioned earlier in my blog I'd really like to cook different things.  So a resolution is to cook what's on my calendar each month (the exception being November as a) it's my birthday month, and b) the dish for November is disgusting).  I'll make sure I include a Make and Bake post each month :)

Get published.  I think 2011 should be the year.  11 is my lucky number, and this is the year I would like to see my work, published somewhere. Whether it's a magazine, a newspaper, a poster, or a book, I just want to know that my work has been classed as worth reading and is out there.

Get fit.  It's been too long since I went to a ballet class, or did anything to maintain my general fitness.  I want to work out and start dancing again!  I'll probably start dancing after uni's finished for the year, but I can definitely start working out now!  Bring on aerobics and whatever else I can manage :)

Travel.  Haven't left the country in 2 years, and think it's time I did something about it.  Would really like to go somewhere wow this year, but as usual, these things are dependent on money.  I'm thinking U.S of A or somewhere in North Africa...

Work.  Yeah.  That old gripe.  I'm going to get a job this year, I will, I will, I will!!!

Photos.  I never take many photos when I'm out with my friends, and it would be nice to see smiles captured again.  So another resolution is to take more picturesss.

Well there are tonnes more, but those are the ones worth writing down without depressing myself later in the year :p

Let's get to it!  Do you have any resolutions this year?
