Inspired vs Copycat

It feels so good to break away.  Although sometimes I still feel limited.  I still have people trying to contact me.  Pick my brain for ideas they can't come up with.  Still have people trying to copy me.  I can't stand that.  I've never been a copy cat, I think it lacks class, and vision.

I don't mind if people dismiss my ideas, or feign indifference.  But when I see elements of my work emerge in others' I feel such a wave of disgust it's unreal.  Is there no room for individuality?  Seriously, how can people take from others and then try to sell it off as their original creation?  *kisses teeth* I said it once, and I'll say it again.

Imitation isn't flattery, it's plagiarism.

  1. The fact that there are people who want to pick your brain means your ideas are great and they are something never pop up into others' mind.

You can change the negative energy into the positive one; You have to be proud of yourself, instead of getting furious about others attitude! ;)

  2. Tag your it!
I tagged you in my latest post, check it out :)

  3. @Sinley, Thanks hun that's true the only problem is if they get credit or praise for someone else's idea, then they are stealing work, and it's hard to ignore if it keeps happening! x

@Shereen, thank you :) shall do a post soon x
